The Pave Group will provide athletes with tangible skills and exercises that they can access during competition and are essential to success. By empowering athletes with these skills, they will be able to overcome barriers as well as increase performance during high pressure situations. The Mindset Program works on five mental exercises and tools; goal setting, self-talk, breathing, imagery, and routines. These provide athletes with the practical strategies they need to ensure that they are comprehensively prepared to perform their best at an elite level. They are aimed at attaining and maintaining an optimal mental and physical state required to achieve success.

Dr. Mitchell will work with individuals (or teams) to discover what motivates them and help them reignite their passion to compete. She will identify mental, emotional, and environmental roadblocks which may be impeding optimum performance.

Finally, The Pave Group will show precisely how to overcome and eliminate these obstacles and harness their motivation for the benefit of the team or their individual goals. We will help to ensure that athletes are competing at their absolute best, physically and mentally, and that they are able to identify strengths which can be utilized to give them a competitive advantage.

Athletes experience hardships, life obstacles, and mental health issues, which is why at The Pave Group, we assist the “entire” individual to ensure that competitors not only enhance their athletic performance, but function as the best version of themselves in all aspects of life.As a licensed mental health clinician with a doctoral degree in counseling, I tackle these elements (i.e. mental health, emotional stress, and environmental factors) in my work with individual athletes, coaches, and teams. When players operate more effectively off the field, their performance on the field will often improve.
